Steven Johnson

Website/Blog: http://www.stevenberlinjohnson.com/

Steven Johnson, the bestselling author of five books and regular contributor to Wired, The New York Times Magazine, and Discover, writes on the intersection of science, technology, and culture. A Distinguished Writer in Residence at New York University, Johnson is also the founder of Outside.in, a hyperlocal community site.

Johnson, who has been called a "consilient thinker" with a spot-on "interpretation of 21st century Web culture", blogs regularly on a range of topics at his personal site.

Married with three boys, Johnson spends most of the year in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It was there, while writing his latest book, The Ghost Map, that Johnson began to understand the value of aggregating localized place bloggers in a geographic way. It was this realization that led to the birth of Outside.in.

We present here two widgets featuring Johnson's books. These widgets are powered by SmartLinks by AdaptiveBlue.
