Dr. Kathy Reichs' 10 novels have been translated into over 30 languages and have won numerous awards. Based on her experiences as a forensic anthropologist, Reichs infuses her novels with real life science and forensic techniques. Bones, a successful Fox television show, is based on Reichs' life and writings.

Reichs' lastest novel, Bones to Ashes, is currently a New York Times Bestseller and has been called a "a page-turner of the highest order."

Kathy Reichs received her Ph.D. at Northwester and divides her time between the Laboratoire des Sciences Judiciaires et de Médecine Légale in Quebec and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in North Carolina.
