A founding member of the International Thriller Writers Association, Joseph Finder has written eight books that have combined his scholarship in Russian studies and world travels to create best-selling thrillers. A New York Times Bestselling Author, Finder also writes for various newspapers and magazines and lives in Boston with his wife and daugther.

Finder's first and second novels, The Moscow Club and Extraordinary Powers, revolved around fictitious events that soon thereafter became real international news headlines. Respectively they explored a coup against Soviet leader Gorbachev and the discovery of a Soviet mole within the CIA. Sometime after publication both events actually occurred.

To help promote his newest book, The New York Times best-selling Power Play, Finder wrote a case study for the Harvard Business Review that was a prequel chapter to the book.
